Michael was born in Worcester, Mass on June 25, 1979. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 2001. He graduated Cum Laude. He received his Juris Doctorate from Dickinson School of Law in 2004.

In 2004 he was admitted to the Bar in Pennsylvania.
