Edwin (Chip) Abrahamsen was born in Scranton, PA on December 28, 1978. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Boston College in 2001 and his Juris Doctorate from Dickinson School of Law in 2004. While at Dickinson Law School, Chip was a member of the Woolsack Society, which represents the top 15% of the class. Additionally, he was inducted into the Order of Barristers. He also holds a Certificate in Dispute Resolution and Advocacy.

In 2004 he was admitted to the Bar in Pennsylvania.
