Lawrence J. Moran was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania on September 12, 1952. He is married to the former Kathryn Conaboy and they are the parents of five children.
Early in his career, Attorney Moran served as the Chief Trial Lawyer for the Lackawanna County District Attorney’s Office. In that position, he successfully prosecuted individuals charged with the most serious criminal offenses including murder, arson, kidnapping, armed robbery and organized crime conspiracies.
Presently, the primary focus of Attorney Moran’s professional practice is the representation of victims and their families in achieving fair compensation for serious, catastrophic and fatal personal injuries. Attorney Moran has established a record of obtaining substantial verdicts and settlements for victims injured or killed by the wrongful conduct of others. Litigation against insurance companies in claims for underinsured and uninsured motorist benefits and for bad faith, is a prominent concentration within his professional expertise.
